Quiz Night

Ninety-five enthiusiastic quizzers thronged the Banstead Communty Hall for the second of Banstead Rotary's Quiz Nights.

The evening was adeptly handled by quiz master David Riley, ably supported by his wife, Sara. The questions were well researched and just left a few in each round to test the grey cells of all present. In an exciting finish the quiz scores showed a tie between two tables and a tie breaker was needed. The final winners were lead by Beryl and John Bishop and the team members proudly displayed their Prosecco prizes.

The Quiz raised Just over £1000 which will go to the Marfan Association (http://www.marfan-association.org.uk) . This is the chosen charity of Club President Ian Caldwell.
