Derek Aram receives a Paul Harris Ruby Pin
Fellow Rotarian Derek Aram received his Rotary International Foundation Paul Harris Ruby pin at the 25th February meeting.
This honour is awarded to few Rotarians due to the length of service needed to qualify. He shares Rotary's vision of a better world and certainly expresses his commitment to the work of ROTARY through his generosity of time and support.
Our Rotary Club is proud to count Derek as a true member who practices the ideals of the 4 WAY TEST and “Service Above Self”.
He is a wonderful example of a Rotarian who shares his good fortune with others in need through his generous donation OF TIME AND EXPERIENCE to the Rotary Club of Banstead.
President John paid tribute
"I am pleased to award Derek a Ruby Paul Harris award, one of the highest awards that
is given in Rotary.
Derek has served this Club for the past 32 years having already been a member and President of the Rotary Club of Dover.
He has been Secretary for 10 years and has held many other positions within the Club.
Derek has been very supportive of his wife Joanne for a number of years but still gives a huge amount of time Rotary.
It is my privilege on behalf of the members of this Club to award Derek with the Ruby Paul Harris award.”
