On 23 June we were joined at our Zoom meeting by Chloe who spoke about her own experiences as both a cancer patient, and, as a volunteer with the charity. Children With Cancer Fund is a small local charity based in Polegate. It was founded in 1998 by four people, two with a passion to support children and two with a passion to support the illness cancer, and, so their journey began!

President John chose this as his charity because a young relative was a beneficiary. Throughout the year funds have been raised and a donation of £1100 has been achieved!

John said “ I chose this charity because children need all the help and support the charity provides, so my friends if you are reading please do everything to you can to support the work of the Children With Cancer Fund who are working to get much needed cancer treatments and family adventures so children in the local area can be treated and enjoy the opportunities provided!”

“ All support will make such a difference, thanks for supporting me to raise £1100!”

The charity supports children who have or have had cancer and their families by granting wishes and organising events to bring families together across East Sussex, Brighton and Hove. Help raise funds for the charity, thus enabling them to continue to do all they can for our families.
