Banstead Rotary Donates £3250 to Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

Members of Banstead Rotary and visitors gathered on 6 August at Cuddington Golf Club to celebrate the successful President’s Charity donation of £3250 to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Georgia Appleby from the charity attended to join the celebration. After dinner, Stuart Walker gave a well researched talk about the history of the charity, its research , and the range of cancers treated. President Jane closed with remarks about her support for the charity.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world leading cancer centre. The charity supports in four key areas: life-saving research, offer patients world leading treatment and care, fund modern patient environments and invest in state of the art equipment.
