A local quiz team has won the Banstead Rotary Club’s annual challenge that has raised over £600 for Crossroads Care Surrey.

Held at The Beacon School, the quiz night was attended by over 70 people and brought together 10 teams made up of Rotarians and members of the local community, whose attendance and donations generously added to our fundraising for this key charity partner.
The winning team, amusingly named Still Dunnos was made up of local supporters and received Easter Eggs as prizes.
Organisers of the quiz night were Banstead Rotarians Roger and David. The quiz master was Leatherhead Rotarian , Simon.
Jane, President of Banstead Rotary, said “ We were delighted that local Surrey charity ; Crossroads Care Surrey is set to benefit from funds raised at our well attended quiz night at The Beacon School.
The tremendous support we received from all those who attended certainly boosted our fundraising efforts. It will enable us to distribute an even larger amount of money than was raised last year to a very worthy cause.”
