Banstead Christmas Lights Switch On

Banstead Rotary and Banstead Residents joined members of the Banstead Guild for the Banstead Christmas Community Event with street entertainers, shopping offers, kids’ games and a very special appearance by Father Christmas and his sleigh.

Banstead glowed with fairy lights, rosy cheeked carol singers and a bright red Father Christmas last Thursday 28 November as the village held a special Christmas event.

Mayoress of Reigate and Banstead, Helen Foreman, opened the event. The High Street lights and Christmas Tree Lights were switched on with the help of Father Christmas who arrived at the event on the Banstead Rotary Club sleigh.!
