Santa Switches On The Banstead Christmas Lights!

On the 23rd November 2020 Banstead lights were switched on by the annual visit by Father Christmas, which signals the start of Banstead Rotary’s free to enter Photography Competition and of the annual Christmas Collection in support of many well deserving local charities.

Given the many social restrictions Banstead Rotary could not allow Father Christmas to tour the area as he normally would to spread much Christmas cheer and to accept the many valuable donations from local residents, which in 2019 raised around £12,000 and so have moved to a more virtual and more internet based initiatives, which can be accessed via https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/BansteadRotaryChristmas.

Every single penny that is raised will go to help and support the many local Banstead charities so all donations will be gratefully received and will make a huge difference to those in need particularly at this challenging time.

We would also encourage everyone to enter the Banstead Christmas Photography competition via https://woobox.com/a452uq with a special prize of a hamper filled with hand-picked goodies, which has been generously donated by Asda Burgh Heath.

Thank you for your support of Banstead Rotary Club and the many Local Charities to benefit from your generosity, which this year includes:
