Banstead Rotary Club Stroke Awareness Day

On Saturday 30th March Banstead Rotary Club held their annual Stroke Awareness Day. The day went very well. The nurses took blood pressure from 83 people who were encouraged to check their BP by Suzanne, Roger and Chris and Sue Bourner who were on the High Street. John Draper and Jane registered the 'customers' and kept an orderly queue.

A special thank you goes out to Olive, Sue, Di and Cheryl who were our volunteer nurses - we couldn't have done it without you!

It's a nice feeling to think that as a club we are helping to keep people aware of their health and promote a healthy lifestyle.
