Banstead Village in Bloom

BVIB  are making good progress in the preparations for the Judging of Banstead Village in Blooms entry on 5th July . Rotary support is very much appreciated by the Village in Bloom Team.

 

  • The library beds and planters are looking beautiful. Additional wheelbarrows are at both ends of the High Street have been sited and filled with flowers. 

  • The large wheelbarrow on the library roundabout was planted up last week, the roundabout weeded and supplementary planted with flowers  and the new summer bicycles placed there.

  •  The Sutton Lane roundabout now has summer bikes all colourfully decorated by local schools.

  • All Saints' flower beds are maturing and the area by the church car park has recently been worked on. 

  • Chiltern's Close has some pretty planters to enhance a neglected corner 

  • and finally the Memorial roundabout is looking glorious with both large flower beds completed.
